From Strategy to Clarity: The Missing Link in Organisational Agility
October 13, 2026

Why in a world of relentless change, the organisations that create clarity will be the ones that create momentum.
Everywhere you look there is a sense of uncertainty, overwhelm and exhaustion in organisations. It’s not just that people have too much to do - and for most of us AI has just made this worse - it’s that people have lost sight of why they are doing it.  And for most humans a loss of purpose (in its actual sense) is deeply debilitating.
So, as a Leader of a team or an enterprise, what do you do about it?
The first step is to understand the problem.  Not just what is showing up; you have masses of data that tells you that.  But why and where.  I’m astonished by how many Leaders tell me they have loads of people metrics.  But none tell them why stuff is actually happening - and specifically what to do about it.
What is missing is the context that sits behind the problem.  It’s easy to get drowned and overwhelmed in the content - in what you see - and miss the context that makes sense of why it's happening.
That’s why at Contexis we believe in actionable, predictive data.  We’ve been analysing what’s really driving human and organisational performance for years in big organisations across the globe.  And that massive database of correlations and causality allows us to pull a neat trick.  We can take existing data from any organisation and use our database to actually make sense of it.  We’re doing that right now from US financial services to European Insurers to Asian logistics.
To see not just what is happening but why. To see the context behind the numbers.
But then you need the experience to know what to do about it.  At Contexis we don’t employ consultants.  We employ entrepreneurs.  To see the context not the content.  Because running a business forces you to see things with precision.  And to really understand people and their deep motivations.  Because we’ve had to take the real decisions in real businesses and not just talked about it.Â
Our job is to cut through the confusion and see what is really going on - to see the wood for the trees. Â Data that creates meaning. Â And the experience to know how to interpret and act on it.Â
But even that’s not enough.  The key differentiator in business today is not just seeing context strategically - but humanly.  That’s why our people, however senior the roles they have done, are also coaches by instinct.  We see businesses primarily as a human system.  Because what really drives pace and value today is the alignment and mobilisation of human assets.Â
That also means working with us feels different. People like working with us not because we have the best data analysis around - and we do - but because we cut through, tell it how it is, and treat clients as friends.  Integrity and trust are at the heart of everything we do.
We’re here to make businesses better, faster, more valuable because we help make people clearer, happier and mobilised.Â
Leaders have always been expected to set direction. Â Increasingly, they must do more: create the context that helps people understand why that direction matters. Â Because in a world of relentless change, clarity is not a nice-to-have. Â It is a source of trust, resilience and speed. Â And ultimately, it may be one of the most important competitive advantages a leadership team can create.
In a world of relentless change, the organisations that create clarity will be the ones that create momentum.
